Candida Benson studied at Edinburgh University and RADA. Her theatre credits include engagements at the National Theatre, Young Vic, Regent's Park, Arcola, Southwark Playhouse, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Chichester Festival Theatre, Royal Lyceum and Traverse Edinburgh, the Citizens, Tron and Oran Mor Glasgow, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and 59E59st theatre, New York. She has won a Scottish Critics Award for acting and directing.
