Sarah Tynan
Carrie Pipperidge
Sarah studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. She made her professional debut as Iphis in Handel's Jephtha for Welsh National Opera. Her critically acclaimed performances include Tytania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier, and Adina in L'elisir d'amore with English National Opera, and Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro with Cincinnati Opera. Sarah makes her Opera North debut earlier in 2012 as Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare.
Sarah Tynan will alternate the role of Carrie Pipperidge with Claire Boulter at the Barbican, London.
