Keith Higham
Billy Bigelow
Liverpool-born baritone Keith Higham studied at the Birmingham School of Acting and the Royal Academy of Music. He has performed with the Chorus of Opera North in numerous shows including The Girl of the Golden West, La Bohème, Carousel and La vida breve.
His theatre credits include Marty in It’s a Wonderful Life at the New Wolsey Theatre, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast at Newbury Corn Exchange, the title role in Sweeney Todd for Shawford Mill and Brujon/Javert in Les Misérables in London’s West End. In 2006 Keith was awarded the Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award and The Henry Cotton Memorial Fund Bursary.
Keith played the role of Billy Bigelow in matinee performances of Carousel in 2012, and is now returning to play Billy in all performances in the 2015 tour.
